Is Greenmangaming legit?

Regarding their level of legitimacy, no idea.... but they did steal the Steam design :p
 
I don't really care about the design or the platform, it is not my place to play judge. What I am asking is if they are a reputable company aka will I get what I purchased legally and will my credit card details be safe?
 
Well they are recognized by verisign and a couple of other credit companies. Mastercard, Visa and paypal included. So I think you should go for it. I hold no resposibility if it doesn't work though. But I'm sure it will. Good luck :)
 
I haven't tried them myself, but I can't find any serious complaints via Google. Let us know how it goes if you decide to use them!
 
Pulling up this old thread to mention my concerns with Green Man Gaming.

Used them for the first time this weekend to buy a game for my son. Used my credit card. I have not made any other credit card purchase online since early December as I was away. Today I started receiving SMS notifications of debits on my accounts. Amounts of R11, R97 and R223, each with some cents too. There were 27 transactions in total for an amount of around R4k. Probably would've been more but EVENTUALLY Standard Bank stopped the card via telephone (after being pushed from pillar to post in trying to do so but that's another story! Phoned after the first two debits but took them forever to do anything).

I cannot obviously prove it was Green Man Gaming at this time but I am certainly suspicious especially considering a Google search brings up similar concerns now.

Just putting it out there.
 
I used them plenty in the past, never had issues. They're legit,scan your pc for malware etc
 
Greenmangaming have been around forever. Total Biscuit prefers them to Steam.
 
Never had problems with GMG. Have bought dozens of games from them in the past. They're usually the best place to pick up preorders because of discounts.
