IS Hardcapping - A Suggestion for IS

Here's a multiple choice question for you :

A : there are 2 or more people posting under your login
B : I've completely missed the boat and misunderstood your position
C : you're schizo
D : your opinions change faster than the petrol price
E : there is no E. Move along.

LMAO :D :p

I understand where you are coming from. But this analogy is more like "I provide free support for a year, then find I cannot cover my overheads, indeed I cannot even afford to eat!"

The infrastructure and bandwidth that IS has to buy to keep pace with an ever growing number of users trying to use "unlimited" local bandwidth is probably beginning to take a big toll on their bottom line. Look at what Verizon are doing - 2c a MB local wholesale - thats a grand for 50GB, as they try to cover their costs.

There is no free ride in SA on data lines. And Telkom screw IS just as they screw us all.

That is so true, also it is Telkom the enforce the hardcapping policy on other ISP's, and since everyone HAS to use their lines theres not really much choice in the matter. Also with IS not hardcapping us at first, even though they were obligated to do so, we should take that as a bonus and now that they hard cap us we cant complain, we all purchased capped packages.

IS is by far the best IS I have come across and I believe they are being cut down by Telkom. They own all the lines and infrastructure and therefore own all our internet :(
