Not quite the same. You asked wat they were - not how "good" they were.
Who best to ask what their mandate is than the group themselves?

Its not about 'good' its about impartiality. There may be negative, but nonetheless real, connotations surrounding the group that they would wish to downplay.

Two or more sources are better than one when formulating an opinion of your own. :)

Well I would rather that organization die a quick death, given its heritage of the Broederbond, which was one of the main mechanisms of Nat government corruption.

What about all the blacks/coloured that are Afrikaans? Isn't that sort of like kicking the group's mission statement in the teeth?

Regardless of mandated or not, it is the same thing.
It is the promotion of black interests at the expense of others that is the issue.

Its like the "only following orders" excuse of the Nazis.

I don't know if you know this, but coloured people are included in the description of "black", as well as indians.

And mind you WHITE women are given preferrence in terms of AA. So the the guys take on society is a bit skewed to say the least.

It is the promotion of black interests at the expense of others that is the issue.

Well now, if said grouping had treated everyone fairly from the get go, we would not be where we are now?;)

While what you say has merit, at least "said grouping" was honest about it.
The ANC is too scared to "come right out with it", which makes them cowardly racists.
 
It goes further than a minority/majority thing. All SA citizens human rights are being violated everyday in SA. When we have high crime levels, lack of basic services to the majority of citizens and a apparently ineffective public service system. To me Human Rights Day is meaningless until the govenrment of the day takes these issues which impact normal peoples lives seriously.

Why would they want to fix issues that dont affect their own lives? That is ofcourse all they care about.. If making their own lives better means the public has to suffer, then thats too bad for the public. But thats what you get if you vote selfish gold diggers into power. Anyone who votes ANC is a dumbass. I think Im going to write that all over my shirt when I go to vote for the next elections.

Maybe I can get some people to crucify me, and we can bring some attention to our cause of bringing down these ugly little men called the ANC
