IS international and SAIX??

Is anyone else having problems with IS international? I cant access sites.

Then on SAIX I cant access certain sites either??

Whats going on with the net tonight?
 
IS is again having major problems. My international is also down since about 30 minutes ago.

But don't think for one second they will have a problem with their billing system and not invoice you for the month.
 
not getting descent speeds on saix either. performance has really been bad this month.... and it only gets worse next ....sheesh :confused:
 
oops !! Have also had no joy on intl site either. IS went down last night too !Also some local sites seem to be unavailable ie moneyweb !
 
Normally when a network is completely "dislocated" its to make room for network upgrades, quite possibly.

Dont ye lose faith before experiencing the taste.
 
well it would be nice to let the customer know when they are going down for what ever !!

I guess with Telkom so BAD !! why should IS try to be any better !!
 
I've been saying for a while now that IS need to jack up their game wrt to their international satellite link. Its congestion is high and reliability is low (even compared to SAIX) .... and they dont even have their 1 Nov immigrants on board yet.

Whos your ISP, it would be their job. IS afaik allways send out notices, a while ahead of schedule.

I have an IS based ISP and have no warning about the current International that is down -- Clipse did IS inform you what they are doing and why it is down?
 
Me too. My ISP is an IS based one. Contacted them & they never got any warning of ANY down time either.

IS have been my ADSL ISP since I got ADSL about 2 years ago.

No, NOT a new subs.... of IS at all. Been there since Sept 2003.
 
Yep

its been down since this afternoon (their sattelite), and IS staff very hush hush and playing dumb, not knowing how long itll take to be restored, so my guess is...dont wait up ;) 10pm now and still nothing...

Bloody fewls, i wish had more options for an isp, only been with these guys 1 week and already ive had a total of 24 hrs downtime...wtf
