for the past weeks I have been nagging my hosting company for sites that I own or manage that are hosted on a server in the US to fix it fix it.... I could hardly get on my own darn sites.

pinging says fine, everything fine. But do a tracert and you grind to a halt and it all points to ... err... Telkom ADSL.

IT IS DRIVING ME NUTS

And yes like so many of you I am in Cape Town.

That's very weird my IS connection has been fine all day (Downloading at 40kb/s on 384 from IS news server) never slowed down once....

EDIT: Oh wait you were talking about International my bad LOL

How does a fibre break between blikkiesdorp effect the Rosebank to Bellville link ?

Unless it runs from Ctn to Springbok then off to Upington and the routes via Kimberly to
Jhb as they tend to follow main routes.

Any at Telkom Networks can answer this ?
Cause: Farmer ploughing up the cable ?
