Telkom's ADSL network downtime today
Telkom's ADSL network's just come online now after being down for 14 hours 13 minutes+
I'm starting to think that shock Telkom's CEO needs to go in for shock therapy as well as Charl and Craig from Telkom SAIX's useless helpdesk. When Craig answered the phone this evening he tells me that there is nothing wrong with their network, similar to the story Charl spun to me this morning and I explained to them that there was a power failure in the Western Cape and their equipment was offline
Anyway I dial-up to SAIX's super slow POP and have 30+ minutes online of super slow access:

IS has stopped working!
My connection to IS stopped working and i disconnected/reconnected, it said invalid username password.
thank the lord for my saix account, else i'd be stuffed.

okay its working again! but the pppoe just seems to freeze. it never does that on saix!

i have experienced browsing today to be a little slower than usual but downloads (torrents) are flying .... Everythings seems to be flying with IS
