Has anyone else been having intermittent problems with international on IS the last couple of days?

Mine is working perfectly.

380k downloads internationally

I constantly have issues with various sites failing to, either resolve or work at all.

Seriously considering switching to SAIX or just flying to the country where the server is hosted and copying the pages I want to my flash drive!

I'm having serious issues visiting int websites :(
Either nothing, or halfloading sites etc. very frustrating.

Am on openweb uncapped and having similar problems connecting to some websites. Rebooted to computer and modem and yesterday it worked and today it is the same stort again. Getting peeved off.

*Having* an IS line entails "intermittent" problems with international sites.

Haha true, but this is a different kind of problem in that I can access some international sites but now others.

For example, last night I could access digg but not slashdot.

Been that way since I joined IS ADSL - often need to log technical calls with their network operations centre to get stuff going (can see some sites, not others etc - some sites slow). The pain is (more often than not) caused by their netcache proxy that misbehaves...
Also got a pay-as-you account from Switchedon (uunet) recently - IT ROCKS, but is expensive. I use it when IS plays up... which is more often than I find amusing these days
