If you are experiencing problems browsing certain local websites, check if it's hosted by the Internet Solution (or hosted by a company using IS's backbone).

Telkom says the link between SAIX & IS is down, therefore the problem surfing sites hosted with them. Sites may include www.bidorbuy.co.za.

Yep - looks like this is the case, as a number of local sites have gone the way of the kwagga (including webmail, ananzi, two major banks, etc.) as of this writing...

As of this posting, the sites tried previously are now back, so we can assume the link between SAIX and IS is fixed...
