I bought my son a cheap proline laptop for school and within a couple of weeks the screen is cracked.
While he was picking up his mouse and it slipped so he grabbed the cable and it swung into the screen and it cracked. I called BS at first but it was witnessed by a teacher who also said she was surprised that the screen cracked so easily.
My only conclusion is that the laptop has a crappy lcd.
Would it be possible to replace the screen with something a little hardier?
