Hi.

Just wondering, is it possible to use two DSL modems on the same line at the same time with two different accounts at two different locations in the house?

I would like to have an international cap account and a local cap account.

Regards

Itai

No. Use RouteSentry, Linksys WRT54G or dedicated Linux server.

What will using RouteSentry and the WRT54G help me with ... having two accounts stored and ability to switch between them ... or actually connecting to two counts at the same time?

It allows you to connect to two accounts at the same time, as well as routing international traffic over your international account and routing local traffic over your local account.

I'm using the WRT54GL method myself, works beautifully.

Physically possible - A mate of mine uses 1 x ADSL Modem that does the physical connection to DSLAM.

Then he has 2 x Routers that establish the PPPoE connections to his 2 seperate accounts.

This worx 100% if you wanna go down this route

I can try that ... I have 2 routers, but will need to plug the modem into a switch.
