Was wondering will it be possible to get Sub 250 ms with a 384 k telkom account ?

I average 295 ~ 315ms using a proxy service, without it I do 500ms +, this is both on a 384 and 4MB line.

Speed of line doesn't really effect latency unless you max the line.

I've had lower than 250ms, but it doesn't last. Around 260ish to 300ms is average for me on a 4096kbps Web Africa shaped account. No proxy

The biggest problem is on our side... The lowest latt you'll get to the rest of the world = 200ms currently

On the Afrihost uncapped 384 I get as low as 240ms when I'm using a proxy (battleping) on the odd rare occasion, but it doesn't last. Axxess doesn't get quite as low, usually around 320 or so, but it's a lot more consistent than the Afrihost is.
