dell D620 notebook for R2800 demo model ...

is it worth it at that price ?
 
the d620 is a decent notebook (thats if I am thinking about the model with the built in 3g and core2duo) for R2800 I'll buy it!...but I might be wrong.
 
yeah it is a core2duo 1.8ghz but not sure of the built in 3g,

what do you guys think ? it's a demo model it has the option of vista for R200 more but i choose to go without it. it's from a big business so i don't intend to find any problems with it. it's going to be for my father-in-law as a business pc.
 
I would go onto the dell support website with the machines TAG number and check the original spec and the warranty status.

Hopefully it has CC which means even if you spill coffe on it and bugger it up they will repair it.

Yeah sure, buy it and the motherboard breaks in 2 weeks. 5K for a new one.

D630's 4 weeks old can be bought off Gumtree for 4500. I bought one recently for a mate and it runs like a charm.

R2800 is not allot of money, but guess you have a valid point
