Is laptop pricing expected to increase in Jan?

I havent made my purchase yet for a business laptop, as I'm going on holiday for 3 weeks I mean, it's not worth the risk leaving the new laptop at home while I'm away... That said, is there any1 that can confirm if the pricing shall go up again in Jan or come down as usual

According to my sources, by Jan most of the existing stock should be sold, and lower pricing on new stock shud come thru. That's if the Rand does not weaken any more ...

Buy now, since it only takes about 2 months for the current R7 prices to come though.

Rand is 6.70100 to 1 Dollar right now. After Xmas prices should also drop,
or does this usually exclude South Africa?
