So we have had no loadshedding in Cape Town for quite a while now. A little has crept in just recently but mainly from 10pm at night.

Anyone heard anything concrete about whether loadshedding will be coming back again in the form of Stage 3 or 4 or worse? Or have ESKOM pulled off a miracle?

I ask because if it is coming back then I want to solar up now while things are calm and prices are low, compared to what they will be if loadshedding makes a comeback.

It is currently stage 2 here. The rugby is over and we are too far from the elections. You will feel it soon.

I'm not naive, I know this is the ANC. But with the karpowership deal seemingly a go and other sources coming online we seem to be in a better position than we were?

But yeah, my gut tells me they merely painted over the cracks for the rugby and elections.

Eventually, we will run out of coal - it is a finite resource. Solar is a good way to go. If I had the money right now - I would do that.

Maybe those with large stocks of Green cried a bit, and their tears were attended to with some LS-Dose.

Do you even South Africa?

You ask this when the country is in stage 2 and 3?

Karpowership isn't even one stage of loadshedding
Loadshedding was down because of lower demand.
We still have a long road of poor electricity delivery and higher prices.

The LS pattern you are seeing hasn't changed. Take a look at the historic charts over the past 10 years. Nothing has changed except the ANC and Eskom becoming very noisy and arrogant because elections are soon. Claiming victories that don't exist.

Yeah but in 5 billion years we will will run out of sun to - and then what.
