Seriously, Guererro was running around like he was chasing a fly!

I hear some folkd says that he fights dirty, but honestly I couldn't see anythings of the sort today.

Anybody watch the fight?

I'm not actually a big boxing fan. My neighbour came to ask me on saturday evening if he can watch the fight at my house since he is on Compact. I got up at 3:30 am and actually had to go wake him up as he overslept :)

Was a great fight though! Apart from the first round which Guerrero took, it was Mayweather all the way
 
Lucky you. Had I been your neighbour, you would have had 2 visitors around 3am :). Take care brother!
 
Yes, he is that good. And he knows it. Hence the suffocating level of arrogance.

He should have fought Pacquiao 3/4 years ago though to get a clear picture. If he does fight Pacquiao now though he'll annihilate him, but it won't be a true reflection as the Pacman is on the slide and has been for about 2 years now.
 
Winning 40 odd fights in a row can't be a fluke, so he must be that good I guess. Not a big boxing fan though.

There is no doubt the guy is good. I remember when I first knew about Floyd, it was after he KOed our very own Philip "The time bomb" Ndou. Before the fight both had won all their fights except that Philip had 31 (I think) winning all of them by knock out.
As for Pacman, it was after he KO ed our very own Lehlohonolo "Hands of Stone" Ledwana. Most of our boxing analyst/experts said ledwaba lost to a novice. It turned out Manny was a champ in the making. I don't like the fact that Floyd talks too much; however, I do appreciate the fact that in the ring he lets his hands do the talking.
 
I would like to see Alexander Povetkin go up against any champion, this guy is truly unbeatable.

By Allan Fox: According to Dan Rafael, a Russian promoter Vladimir Hyunov has made a huge, huge $23 million purse bid for a fight between IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and WBA heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin for an August 31st fight in Moscow, Russia.

Hyunov’s $23 million bid topped Wladimir’s K2 Promotions bid of $7.1 million and Povetkin’s promoters Sauerland Event’s $6.01 million. Wladimir will receive 75% of the money, which comes out to more than $17 million compared to the nearly $6 million for Povetkin.

Wladimir’s manager Bernd Boente told ESPN: “We only have to make sure that the money goes into escrow and that it’s real.”

Boente says that this is Wladimir’s biggest payday of his career “by far” if the purse bid is real and not a fake one.

Wladimir will still have to get by his next opponent Francesco Pianeta (28-0-1, 15 KO’s) early next month on May 4th at the SAP-Arena, Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. If Wladimir loses that fight then he can forget all about getting that big $17 million purse because he’ll no longer have the WBA title in his possession. It’ll be Pianeta with the strap.

The Russian promoter Hyunov will have to come up with 10 percent of the $23 million [$2.3 million] in the near future as a deposit, according to Dan Rafael.

Wladimir vs. Povetkin would likely bring a lot of fans to Moscow. It might not be a big deal for boxing fans outside of Germany, Ukraine and Russia but in those three countries, this will be a big fight. Both Wladimir and Povetkin are former Olympic gold medalists, although Povetkin has faced much softer opposition compared to the 6’6” Wladimir.

HBO could end up televising the fight in the United States. It might not bring in the huge numbers that are seen with Manny Pacquiao fights, but there could be some interest in the fight by hardcore boxing fans.

Yeah, he is really good. Brilliant foot work and his fitness levels are well above good. Also the fact that he does not box a lot, helps.

I agree, if Mayweather could have fought Pacman 4 years ago it would have been something akin to Rumble in the Jungle.
