Mine is working again but at the speed of a 56k modem. Very painful.

My Blackberry is struggling as well, mail seems to be intermittent.

Changed my apn settings, and now it seems to be working again, don't know how it got messed up in the first place

yep looks like a problem, a couple of us at the office have mtn and we normal have HSDPA but our phones are conecting only on 3G or less so far today

i been having the same problem. it if the data seems to be intermittent.
I'm based constantia kloof area, and have friend down close rebel farmer (near clearwater mall) having same problem.
this is ongoing this morning still.

Yip, my BB is still giving problems. IT works for a while then stops, my "G" in the top right corner is also in lower case.

T274 Roodepoort W/Tower was down on the 18/08/2011 & resolved please note that yesterday we had a temporary data network problem & resolved
