like fish,puppies,cats,spiders etc?
ok,so not illegal....immoral yes...but I can deal with thatI don't know if its illegal. If not it should be. It is wrong to murder a living creature (not kill for meat or anything, but like murder as in drown in a bucket on purpose). I am talking about pets, not your average cockroach etc.
Animal cruelty is bad...killing maybe,I`l eat the meat afterwardsYou cannot murder an animal, but you can kill it. According to law and the dictionary murder only applies to human beings.
There are no laws against killing animals either, AFAIK, but there are against animal cruelty. So it is up to the courts to decide on whether the killing was an act of cruelty or not.
Only laws against killing I can even remotely site are acts to protect endangered animals.
:erm: Nuke, when you say you're asian, I've always assumed you're Indian.Animal cruelty is bad...killing maybe,I`l eat the meat afterwards
and its not an endangered animal either
I`m full asian, half indian and raised in limpopo:erm: Nuke, when you say you're asian, I've always assumed you're Indian.
perhaps....something along those linesWhat animal are we talking about here?
The neighbours' cat?
It could be....in which case I`d kill it without so much as a second thoughtIf it's life threatening.. then I would kill it, like a snake for example![]()

So what is my sentence if I accidentally step on a spider in the garden? Do I hand myself in to any police station or is there a special unit?
As a follow up, what if I intentionally step on a spider, which turns out to be the neighbour's very expensive pet tarantula who escaped from his cage?
No crime was committed here.So what is my sentence if I accidentally step on a spider in the garden? Do I hand myself in to any police station or is there a special unit?
This is interesting. The neighbour should have taken better care of his expensive pet though. As a follow up, what if I intentionally step on a spider, which turns out to be the neighbour's very expensive pet tarantula who escaped from his cage?

Did you know it was your neighbours pet?
Here, you now know one woman who has a pet tarantula in her homeGetting into the argument of what the reasonable person would have done. What if I did not know it is his spider (I say his, as I do not know any woman who will keep a spider as a pet), but I suspect it may be, as I have heard he keeps one?
What if the tarantula cannot actually hurt you, but you think it can? Did you need to kill it? What interest of yourself were you protecting when killing it?
