How long is a piece of string? Again I'm having synch problems with Helkom and last I heard techs would revert within 24 hours, but that was 24 hours ago.

last night around 20:30 no browsing was working for me. things came right after a quick router reset.
just wondering, if under your cap is there any reason one shouldn't reset?

Okay now I'm confused. XBox Live works fine but I can't access any web sites, including xbox.com 
This is obviously a problem on my side, perhaps router related. What can I check on the router settings (which haven't changed at all)?

I am also having experience visiting sites like news 24, takes like over 3minutes for the site to load.

I know there is problems in bryanston area. We have a vpn line running there from northcliff. And they have a line running to the JSE which is giving problems.

WA Saix is 100% dead here, but Axxess Saix is alive. Friend's MWeb SAIX is also OK.
strange problem here - possibly the same??
I've been having a strange problem since yesterday. Half-way through the day, we couldn't access our website anymore (not e-mail, not FTP, not the site). We complained to the host (Hetzner), who were very good and talked me through doing a tracert. Turns out it wasn't making it much past out of the router. Also turned our there was plenty of traffic on the site whilst we couldn't access it, proving that it was something to do with our connection. The host's explanation was that sometimes the Telkom/Mweb network has trouble communicating with the Verizon network. I probably explained that a bit wrong, but that was the gist of it. Solution: re-set the router.
Problem: It's been happening again throughout the day today, and also to other sites (eg bidorbuy). Other websites will carry on working, whilst selected sites stop being reachable one by one. It's very strange, and I'm wondering if it ties in with the problems everyone else is having.

my adsl and phone have just been down for 5 hours, they're working again now.
