I had an insurance claim around 1 month ago - my Bold 9700 took a swim 
I decided to go for the new Bold 9780.
I absolutely love this phone and find that OS6 is awesome.
However I have two problems namely it drops the BIS 3G signal often and the GPS doesnt function that well.
It is a VODACOM phone using an MTN simm card, the suppliers said it was ok
The GPS doesnt work all that well and doesnt lock onto satelites that easy and quick like my 9700 did.
My pal who has a 9800 said he loaded new firmware and his 3G dropping issue is sorted out.
Can anyone tell me, do i load vodacom or mtn firmware as its a vodacom phone??
What is the latest firmware anyhow??
