I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 that I've had for just over a year, all of a sudden the printer has been printing random pictures from Disney junior website yet no one goes onto the website, my sister used to print from it a few months ago but she doesn't anymore and the iPad has not been connected to the printer for a long time, yet the printer continues to print random color-ins from the website.... Does anyone have any idea on the situation or is my printer possessed?

Does the printer have wifi and is that wifi secured or off?

Some kid might have accidentally connected to it and now prints to it...

Either you have hp internet service activated and someone is using it or one of your devices are having a printing queue problem. Uninstall and reinstall the printer driver on all the computers and also check the settings that the hp internet services are deactivated.

Otherwise. Walt Disney is living in your printer

What a dumb hacker, i would have printed hardcore skat pr0n.

Hehe. My 3 year old (at the time) subscribed to Forbes newsletter on the apps panel on my 8600.

He used to head upstairs at the same time every day to pick up his printouts. Took me a few days to figure out where he was getting them from

Well there's my laptop connected and my parents computer and those 2 are ruled out, nothing else is connected, we disconnected her iPad since she didn't stop printing things everyday and hasn't been connected for 2 months or so. We have wasted so many pieces of paper on Disney things

maybe a subscription for printing?

take down dates/times when it prints

Also no one has access to it, neighbors don't have kids and the range of the router barely reaches the other side of the house so I doubt it's some kid on his iPad on the side of the street

Didn't say router, did I? Many new printers have their own wifi signal being broadcast, the printer might be more on one side of the house and close enough for someone else...

Just take out the paper so it cant print that stuff any more in the mean time.

Oh yes I do have a local connection from the printer but it's disabled. I'll check the print queue now, we do have eprinting but it's only available from my laptop as it was set up to only work with the application which no one else has

Looks like little fingers subscribed to the Disney printouts app on the printer lol! Problems solved, thanks guys for everything!
