Is my router broken?

Okay, here's what's happening. Every 2 min there is a loud click sound coming from the router, a few seconds later all the lights go off except the power light. After another 2 min there is another click sound and slowly all the lights come back on. When the lights are off I obviously lose my connection and it's driving me mad, because after a hard days work all I want is a little alone time with my games...

Is it the router, or should I call my ISP?

Yep seems broken IMO, you could try another power adapter first though

Oh laaaaaa sounds like it got hit by the lightining we must investigate and find out where this lightning is coming from lol

The ISP or Telkom could in theory make one or two of the lights go off, but I'm at a loss as to why you think your ISP has any involvement in the loud click sound.

I think it is time for a new router (if you have ruled out the power supply).

I assume other lights in your house are unaffected ...
