IS Network Congestion

Hi all

Could someone please let me know if they are experiencing the same sort of thing:

I am getting ping responses of between 800ms to 1200ms and 40% packet loss to myadsl.co.za.

I am currently at work where we have IS business DSL.

Yeah I think it is time for me to ditch my IS account. It is to hopelessly useless to persevere with.

Question : How do you ping a website, and how do you know how fast the response time is?
