So, i'm currently with Imaginet, i have a 3GB account with them. But i play CS: Source online, which uses about 40MB and Hour, which Owns my cap within 2 or 3 weeks.

So, i was thinking of switching over to an OpenWeb 3GB-27GB account.

Now, i have a few questions first:

1) Apparently there are alot of problems with openweb becasue it's based on IS. Will this be a problem when gaming?

2) Does OpenBrowse actually work? When my 3GB is used up, will i still be able to browse internationally?

I only play CS on SA servers. All i need to be sure of is that i'll still have a nice low ping, and that after my first 3GB, i'll be able to browse internationally.

If the answers to my questions are what i wanna hear, i'll get an OpenWeb account TOMORROW.

Thanks Guys.

Local performance on IS is almost identical to SAIX. It's only international that's a bit funny on IS cos international runs over satellite, latency will also be a bit higher internationally.

Sick, so it would be good for gaming, yeah? Cool. Anybody else going to give an opinion?

Openweb rocks.

been with the for quite a few months now.

For local gaming Openweb is perfect, pings to local sites are sometimes even better from IS than from SAIX.

And I often play BF2 on SGS and havent had any problems whatsoever.

Just got a Verizon a/c from them

It is awesome. The best - goes intl via fibre, is unshaped and cheaper than SAIX unshaped.

i play on steam when i have int. bandwidth and i get about 80- 90 ms latency on sgs source servers if im lucky , most cases i get kicked for reaching the 100ms limit which is irritating at times
but i would reccomend a saix account thou for gaming :)
but yeah openweb is a good isp , no probs here
