is pc international safe to use?

they carry stock :) but usually run out cause ya :P

so just phone them before you go, but they do keep stock, its not like everything you need will have to be ordered.

So you want us to phone them for you?

Not sure about the stock, thats why we say phone them pronto.

My bosses laptop battery was buggered, I phoned them and they said they had the last one in stock. I say hold it for me I'll pick it up in the morning.

See why we say you should phone?

no i dont want you to phone them. im asking if any of you who have done business with them know already from experience if they haveto import first etc etc how they do business etc etc. my basic question is do they import your order or do they keep stock IN GENERAL. i want to know if i order something will i haveto wait for them to import it or are they a company who keeps stock. you get companies who only import at request. im asking if they'r like this or if they have stock IN GENERAL.

Judging by how quickly they can have an item (same day, etc) I'm sure they do not import per request.

I will never deal with a company who operates that way. What company do you know that operates that way?

However, as with any product distributor there will be products that are sold out or not in stock. The only way to find out if they have the stock is to ask them.

If they are sourcing from another distributor, that distributor could be out of stock or waiting for stock to arrive.

So no, they do not import per request and they do keep stock, etc., and stock is kept by their suppliers. To find out if they have what you want you can only ask them.

So yes, in general they will have stock.

Aren't they closed over the festive season?
I can recommend them, They aren't too bright on communication though.
The goods just turn up one day!

I don't get companies/shops whose main method of customer communication is via a forum. Answer the phone (or even respond to an e-mail) and be a bit more personal with someone who is thinking of giving you money or has given you money.

is the shop owned by indians?(nothing racial intended dont hurt me)

gave them a call and indians picked up so i want to know if its the right shop.

anyway i phoned and the guy was pretty unfriendly. asked them if they had stock and he gave me a flat NO. not no sir. unforntunately not sir etc etc. what a d**k!. then im on the line waiting for something more and then theres awkward silence. just a flat no.

i know it might not sound intense but in my opinion its real rude of them

I'm not surprised. I've emailed them 3 or so times in the past and they just never replied.

I have been buying from them for years, and they are pretty good.

But they are also victims of their own success, they are so busy that customer service is not always what it should be. You have to be patient, but they will come through.

They keep a lot of stock, but it moves so quickly, that a pile of printers going up to the roof may be gone the next day.

They typically source locally, so can get stock in a day or two.

Their pricing is good, and the after-sales service is OK.

They have a business model that relies on a low mark-up, but high volume, and they try to limit the on-premises stock of slow-moving items.

I am patient with them, but get the low prices and sophisticated equipment that I want.

I recently bought a nice i5 / Asus P7 /GeForce 295 / Smilodon system from them.
