It is the capital city mind you....
I wish the criminals would rather attack each other.
Violent crime is so high in the eastern and northern suburbs of Pretoria that specialised police task teams have been established specifically to deal with thugs terrorising those areas.
This was revealed by Tshwane executive mayor, Dr Gwen Ramokgopa, during a visit to seriously injured Razelle Botha and her father, Professor Willem Botha, on Tuesday.
Razelle, who is in Pretoria East Hospital's intensive care unit, was wounded in the spine by two gunmen who broke into her family's Moreleta Park home last week.
While Razelle, whose ambition had been to study to become a doctor to help her fellow citizens, has regained some sensory feeling in her legs, the bullet caused extensive damage to the nerves controlling movement. It is feared that she may at best regain only about 30 percent movement in her legs.
