IS proposed upgrade?

So apparently IS was supposed to upgrade their International links by the middle of Feb 2006...

It's now March and so far I've heard nothing... Anyone got any details on whether they did actually do a top-secret upgrade, or whether the idea was just washed away with all the rain?

I was thinking the same thing today. According to me the speed is worse now than what it was 6 months ago.

I had an IS account last month and the international access was pathetic during the day. SAIX accounts are noticably faster during all times. The only thing good with my account was MR Beeps proxy server that was really fast. Nice one Mr Beep!

They probably didnt allocate jack sh*t too their ADSL clients.
