I applied for the 18 hours uncapped last week.i was just in the border of the signal area. There was not 5g where my location is.

I just went to go check and now I am in the middle of the 4g and in the middle of 5g signals and this is with in a few days?

They might have added a new tower or 2, or already did and have now switched it on and tested it, in which case they would add it to the map. But contact there live chat, and select the 5G option and just make sure

Speaking from a 5G perspective as mentioned before I was literally on ragged edge, but with some tweaking, trial and error getting ODU pointed in right direction it came right. The optimizer in my case was totally wrong. It does not take into account lay of the land and location height relative to towers.

The map is I guess normally correct. However where I live it shows that I am in 5G coverage (close to the edge), but I receive no 5G signal at all. They do a good job at updating the map regularly.

I have found it pretty accurate...tested at numerous locations around S.Subs and Peninsula and the signal and speeds all seemed to confirm what the map shows.
