Is SAIX SMTP servers down ?

I have not been able to send emails via smtp.saix.net
My adsl provider is webafrica. Their support desk informs me that the saix smtp servers are down. Anybody else having the same problem ?

Yup - I am in Dbn and same problem...

I have been having issues here in Cape town as well ... so it looks like there is a problem .. Lucky for me we have a couple of alternate SMTP servers
