Could someone please tell me what the format of the log in name should be? Certain number of digits, numbers? When I try to reset using their IVR it only resets my password and, in confirmation mail, states
Enter your personal SARS eFiling login name and this temporary password:

Dear SARS, that is exactly my problem, I forgot what login name I registered with :crying:

My login name has 6 letters followed by 4 numbers.

Thanks. It wasn't system generated?

I'm trying to guess here what I could have made it as I only have a handful of usernames I usually use.

Yes it was generated by SARS.

Here is how to retrieve your lost (forgotten) password or login name - it should show that too, I guess:

Open your browser
Click on Tools
Click on Options
Select Security
Click on Saved Passwords
Then click on show passwords

I had reinstalled the OS earlier this year, so its not there.

I think I'll wait until next week and call them

OK, just didn't want to give up and tried calling them again today and finally got my login details :D

However, I cannot seem to save the return. Am I missing something? There's only a back and print button, and obviously clicking back discards the changes I made.

In fact is there a way to file the return without making any changes (the only thing that I wanted to update was my home telephone number, but I can update that at a later stage I suppose)

Done and dusted.

PS, I had read only access to my profile which is why I couldn't save. Probably the financial advisor I used for the last couple of years
