IS speeds

Well, it seems IS must have fixed there line problems. As today at the durban motor show at IS's wifi hotspot. Getting some lovely speeds!!!

Speed: 278kb/s international --- constant for an hour of lovely downloading. Think its around 2mbit. But i have to say, im moving to UK cause i need speeds like that more often in my life!

278 / 8 = 34.75kB/s ...? Or did you mean kilobytes instead of kilobits? Also bear in mind that it is now weekend, speeds are still rather shocking during weekdays

yip, speeds are great after hours and during weekends, otherwise, they suck

How are these speeds possible?

How is it possible that there are these speeds at the Durban Motorshow? I meant kilobytes a second. I did the telkom speed test (uncached), and got 500kb downloaded in 1.28 seconds. Then downloaded 11mb off an international site at 250ish kb/s taking a min or 2. This was all at the wifi station.
