Is the 5570 any good?

I would like to get a graphics card for myself. Nothing major, just some games running at 1280 x 1024. It must support dual monitors. I can get hold of the Sapphire HD5570 and that price is about the highest I am willing to go. Is it better to rather go for one of the cheap 4xxx series cards?

Not much price difference between the 4 and 5 series. The 5670 is a good all round card.

See if you can get a 4850 for a similar price. Otherwise, get the 5670. Its got much more memory bandwidth, well worth the slight increase in price.

If you can get a 5770 for the price of a 5570 then thats the best deal!

The 5770 is a bit too much (R1650) but I can get the 5670 for R1060 so it sounds like that is the way to go.

I think so the 400w PSU would be fine because the 4670 requires a minimum 400w PSU

Definitely get the 5670. You wont need a new power supply.
