for a moment forget all the stuff the marketing people will say about it's amazingly high dpi and sensitivity and all the other things. The big thing about a razer is the build quality. I've had a Boomslang for 5 years now, and it goes to every lan and every event, gets treated very rough and while in the past 5 years all my friends have atleast replaced there mouse twice, I never have. So I see it as buying either 3 Logitec mice at R350 a pop or 1 decent mouse for R600 odd
Bugger, first i thought u were talking about a new processor, then i read some more and thought u were talking about a snake, and then there were mice and it was all confusing!
One of the good things that happened at Rage was that I could finally decide what I am going for. They had both the new razor and new logitech mice connected to one pc at one of the booths.
Had a feel for both and decided on the G5. It suites me more. The razor is too flat for me. Also I like the software that comes with the logitech more.
You could try "learn" to use the mouse with your wrong hand. A friend of mine does this, infact he is very l33t with it now. He can open up MS word in approximately 6.56s from boot.
I personally prefer logitech over the razers.
