Hello Everyone..

Is there truth that Rectron is downsizing in Montague gardens? My buddy’s cousin applied for post today as a telesales consultant and was told that all positions have been frozen by HQ in Joburg pending the downsizing of staff and moving to smaller premises.

Has anyone else heard of this? Would be interesting to know

As a client of Rectron:

They don't use Telesales consultants... they just have sales people, and sales managers who are assigned to client's accounts. They're not really big into telesales at all and prefer you e-mail them your order.

I saw "To Let" sign on their premises, I was under impression they are moving somewhere else. Also, lately, I noticed that there are fewer and fewer cars on Rectron parking everytime I go to Frontosa.

@Koosi: Its a different thing if they told him there are no such positions available, companies don't always need more people but "all positions have been frozen by HQ" has a different ring to it.

i think it is true , i saw the big For Sale sign in between the two pillars the other day ,but it seems no one's talking as yet or maybe not allowed to

Company, I perviously worked for were one of earlier & largest dealers with Reactron, at least several hundred grand per mth, constant for 14 years! They then caught Rectron trying to deal directly with their clients & promptly dropped them like a hot potato!
MD was furious & spread word to all his business partners - en masse they deserted Rectron. Similar thing could be happening in CT!
