Is there still demand for colo hosting?

We were fortunate enough to be given a tour of Africa Data Centres CPT 1 DC and during conversation with our account managers and sales managers the question about colo came up.

So my question is, is there still an appetite for affordable colo on a per U, quarter rack or half rack basis?

And if so which location would you consider if we offered it, JHB, CPT or DBN?

Yeah but we have been co locating since 2009 with them… Now imagine the 10% increase every year.

I believe COCT offers collocation hosting in various exchanges across the city.

They actually let you take photos in Teraco? In CT1, I was strictly instructed to only take photos of what we were working on in a specific cabinet. LOL

In fairness you're describing most modern datacenters in SA. I won’t knock though what NAP has achieved for connectivity in SA though.
