Hi, guys. I hope you are all doing well. I have been looking to purchase some tech products and there is a site called https://iterneti.store/
Is this is a legit online store? Has anyone purchased from these guys before?

Please let me know

Thank you very much for informing me, Willie. I really appreciate it. The spelling on their site for some well-known products is incorrect and some prices are just too good to be true. Thanks again.

Thank you very much for the updated post, Willie. I have been communicating with them on WhatsApp, and they have the product I am looking for in stock. They also provided me with a physical address, which is a house in the northern suburbs. While I understand that businesses can be run from homes, I am still somewhat skeptical about the potential risks of being mugged or cheated including the red flags you have pointed out.

The good:
  • They accept payment via methods that allow reversal

The bad, other than everything already mentioned - several of these are legal requirements as per the CPA and ECTA:
  • Their products are massively underpriced, even if drop-shipping from China/Amazon
  • Free delivery on all orders over R 1k as well (hard to do when some of your pricing is already 10-50% cheaper than anywhere else in the world)
  • The Facebook profile is a personal profile, not a company page
  • TikTok account can't be found
  • Privacy policy is littered with "[NOTE TO MERCHANT:...]"
  • No mentions of warranty ANYWHERE
  • Returns policy consists of a single sentence
  • No T&Cs
  • No registration number
  • A total of 66 completely random items across all categories

Yeah, run a mile, stay faaaaaaar away

Something mildly annoying about this.

PayFast can only process a reversal if the funds are available in the seller's merchant account. Doing a credit card reversal via your bank is a possibility which will take the funds out of PayFast's account, but as they pay merchants via EFT they can't recover anything from the seller.

It creates a situation where the merchant wins, the buyer is restored to his original position, and the gateway takes the hit. There is no real threat to the seller other than their account being closed.
 
I'm still waiting for my laptop screws from Zasttra.
