I am hoping the wise sages of the mybroadband forum can give me some advice and clarification
I am farely sure I have a line fault, but would like to be sure before I send for a telkom Tech, just in case they tell me it's not a line fault and try and screw me over...
The Following is occuring:
- About 20% packet loss, both when pinging myadsl.co.za as well as on teamspeak
- Intermittently slow webpage loading. This comes and goes. When I try and load gmail for example it returns the following error: Some Gmail features have failed to load due to an Internet connectivity problem
- I do however get full speed on p2p and direct downloads
- I have thus far not yet desynced from my exchange.
I've tried both my Openweb and Webafrica ISP accounts...the same things happen.
Is there anything else that could be causing this aside from a line fault? Should I just phone telkom and have them send someone?
