Is this a perfectly functioning, stable connection?

As i am unsure if these results are good, could someone please assist?

Afrihost says, perfectly functioning stable connection.But I can not stream anything without more than 30% time spend buffering, this on a 10 meg line, 52m from main telkom box?

looks like your useing wifi or have a bad lancable going from the router to you pc

also the 3rd hop dont look good, rest of the pings are good

main problem is,your useing afrihost,thats why u cant stream well


connection may be stable,but not your data (afrihost)


get yourself a free account from webafrica or somewhere then u test ,if it works 100% you know its not your line,but with afrihost

Hope 2 and 3 is just the ISP that is not responding to traceroute packets.

Connection to router looks fine - 1-2ms.

Just cancelled Afrihost, purchasing VOX.registered and awaiting their confirmation
Vox is a little slow on Customer care, but all i want is a good quality connection with the data i need.

lets hope things improve.

they can be slow,but helpfull,atm some users on vox have slower speed

but mainly due to all the windows 10 updates and they got flooded with all this new 100gb signs up

but in general there good,stream downloads all lovely!


also if u dont get it today. i have a spare webafrica cap account that will expire today so u can have it if u want

Thank you, but I have a spare Mweb account that I keep active to maintain my old email address.

Still awaiting Vox, I called their CC line this morning and was told that they have no idea when the new accounts will be activated as they have several days backlog.

Not a good start with Vox.
