I got an Mweb uncapped account but and it's working fine from my laptop (wifi connection).
However when I try to connect with my pocket pc I get the error:
"unable to obtain a server assigned IP address. Try again later or enter an IP address in Network settings"
This has never happened before.

Well, are you trying to dial out with it? Is the router dialing out? Because the uncapped connections only allow 1 concurrent connection afaik. So if you are indeed trying to dial out from the pocket pc, it wont work.

no not trying to dial out just access the internet from another room.

We assume the router is dialing out on the adsl line to mweb?
Then the problem is most probably on your pocket PC, either assign a static IP.(on the pocket PC)
Or set the pocket PC to DHCP - able to get an IP assigned from the server (your router in this case).
And set the router to assign DHCP IP addresses to the nodes in your network. Also check security settings on the router.

whoa...how do I do any of the above man...I'm not too clued up on technical stuff...:)
