is this a vorus/malware/adware or what?

i dont want to sound dumb but where do i check this.. i dont mess with these kinda things

No worries,

Right-click My Computer, click properties ==> System Restore

Its above the General tab. Always turn it off before running scans. When your pc is clean and at a good state then make a new restore point which is in SystemRestore in your startbar under Accesories\System Tools

thanx i just did turned it off now

svchost.exe runs a number of services and it can be effected by a virus to effect maximum damage, cos these services do quite a lot of things. I've had these viruses before. Get a decent Anti-virus app like NOD32.
Good news is, it's not a "vorus" :) but it could be a virus.

Yeah, theres also one that takes over your spoolsv process which is for your printer...that one was nawty

Seems that it could have been infected, I ran Task Manager and svchost.exe shows up scaned with AVG no problems.
If it just started perhaps there is a conflict within the Anti-Virus database...?

EDIT:
