Is this a weed?

I have this stuff growing all over, that kind of looks like a clover but isn't.



It doesn't grow too long and sort of sits at the same length as the grass. So it blends in, except you can see it when you look.



So is it a weed? And how can I get rid of it?

I misread your title and came here thinking I would see a different picture.... But yes, this is a weed. I think officially its called a clover weed.

It's wonder lawn. If you want to get rid of it, you need to feed a high N fert. The lawn will out grow the wonder lawn effectively smothering it out.

It is basically a weed if it's growing in your lawn. If your kikuyu grass is healthy it can kill off (some) weeds. I don't remember the name of the weed but it is a vigorous grower and can take over a lawn. Some people use it as a ground cover for bare patches.
