Is this a good laptop buy??


Here are the following specs:

HP 4520S INTEL CORE I5-480M 2.66GHZ
INTEL CORE I5 2.6GHZ
SEAGATE 500GIG HD - 7200RPM
DVD WRITER
8GIG MEMORY DDR3 1333MHZ
15.6" LCD SCREEN
WIRELESS AND 3G
WINDOWS 7 PRO
BATTERY LIFE 5 HOURS

ALL FOR ABOUT 9k

What do you think?

Hey Nokkie, perhaps having a mod move this to the PC section might yield better results.

but I do not know enough about current laptop pricings etc to give you a good answer, although I dislike HP laptops

Just some advice. That battery won't ever last 5 hours. Had a few calls from people buying notebooks just because of that fact and when we tell them that it is only with the highest power saving settings on, and the notebook functions nearly crippled, and you not working on the machine, that you'll get close to 5 hours. Otherwise, it's a good notebook esp for business.

How many hours will you actually get? if its 2 hours its probably fine...

Close to 2 hours, maybe more if you don't use the WLAN. 1hr30 to 1hr40 if you do use WLAN and depending what you do on it as well.
