Well I spoke to my manager and asked him if he would provide a reference. He said sure.
They no longer call them "recommendation" letters.I was told by a recruitment company that it's against the law to give a bad recommendation.
Not sure how that works though as that deceives the point?
A company once phoned me in reference to a previous employee, who applied for a position there. They kept me busy for over an hour, asking a lot of in-depth questions.
Would've been much easier and quicker if I said from the start, that I don't know him.Damn, my good nature.... (I heard he got the job, wonder if he knows about my effort)
