Is this dodge or not?

What are we looking at?

Hi,

Sorry I should clarify.
To me he is pre-firing at places where people are going to be, or rather they are behind the walls, so he is shooting at nothing, and then the people come around the bend and he gets them anyway.
Its just the pre-fire that worries us a little.

Pre-firing on busy locations and run-though points have always been a thing in FPS. If you know someone is going to run around a corner if you beat them to it. Or you know someone is going to camp behind a certain box. Then you can shoot there with the guarantee than you will get a kill there. This happens in ALL FPS games. It's dodgy if they shoot only when someone is already there and they only hit that person and nothing else. If that makes sense.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.
Yes that makes sense.

However, the fact that he shot at one spot and then instantly carried on firing to another spot where no one was standing was/is rather suspect, to some other people and myself. Considering he shot directly at the wall where my buddy was standing behind.

If there was instant snapping or twitching, then then it would be even worse.

But hey, safer to ask than to throw hackusations at the guy. Will just keep an eye on him.

Yeh an aimbot would stick the cursor right onto the enemy. This guys still missed a few shots when he could see the opposition.

I'll have to watch the video first. Apologies I can't view it from work.

Yes, there is a difference between pre-shooting (expecting people to come or be at a specific place) and shooting at people dead on behind walls. The second part would be a wall hack+Aim bot. But you need to see it more than once for it to be suspect. Sometimes people just get a stray bullet at the right place. But from your example it sounds like a wall hack+Aim bot.

Dont think its an aimbot, Just saying he is seeing people behind walls, essentially a wallhack or ESP, so he always knows where you are coming from.

WIKIPEDIA said:
Wallhacking
Wallhacking allows a player to see through solid or opaque objects and/or manipulate or remove textures, to know in advance when an opponent is about to come into targeting range from an occluded area. This can be done by making wall textures transparent, or modifying the game maps to insert polygonal holes into otherwise solid walls.

ESP
Extrasensory perception, often read incorrectly as "Extrasensory precision" (ESP) in video games displays contextual information such as the health, name, equipment, position and/or orientation of other participants as navigation/directional markers, which would normally be hidden from game players. This may be performed by reading the program's memory with an external program, or intercepting and decoding packets as they travel between the client and the server, or else by reading the memory arrays containing player positions. The advantage of such a cheat is that it would allow the user extensive information about their opponents, allowing for selection or avoidance of less or more dangerous opponents, respectively. This is extremely difficult to detect and prove, but is definitely considered cheating.

Yes, that is what it would look like to us, but I will have to get more footage of the guy as well, which I am trying to do.
Looking forward response regarding this.

Had a look at it now and I won't say he's using a hack yet. That looked predictive tbh. And the second guy he killed you can see in slow-mo he saw him there.

Thanks for the update, Yeah I saw the second guy, was more the first one that irritated me a little I guess, as he shot at the wall, not even at the door.
But yeah, I am just going to keep an eye on the guy. We have played with him for quite a long time, he was nothing special, but now when we play against him, we just cant touch him anymore lol.
He is doing the same as another guy we used to know, but I will need to hunt for more proof, so that is what I will do, will keep tabs on him, get whatever I can where I can.

Thanks again for the input.

Hi Guys,

Just want to have others look at this as well.
I am not throwing accusations, but rather just asking your thoughts.

What do you think of this video:

You will never be 100% sure by just that clip. You need xray to see if he was lining up though walls. With bf4's horrendous netcode and horrid anti cheat software don't expect much. I moved over to cs go and with the recent vac wave and semi decent servers I am going to bunker down there till a fps comes along that focus on the player and his experience.

So good netcode, updated anti cheat software and high tickrate servers. Even if he is cheating and you have clear evidence of it who will you report him to. When bf3 came out a hacker came into our server and started to kill everyone on it from across the map. He was reported and that account is still playing.

I have no trust in dice or ea to fix this ever. Sad because I love bf4

Not really. A pro player knowing the map does it. I have done the same on many instances and have been told I cheat. You expect a player there and is ready to shoot. Boom HEADSHOT, even before any one can react.

Hi,

If he were a pro player, then I probably wouldnt think twice to look at it, but he nowhere near pro till a couple days ago, and the fact that he got a ban on his other account doesnt give trust there either.
He went from mediocre to insane for him, never goes negative anymore unless we spectate. But as I say I know this vid will never be enough evidence, and just want some input, and I take all the info given here, and go hunting for more evidence.

Lets just say I am not going to trust him until I see him playing in person.

Thanx for the suggestions.

Sue thing man. WE need to get cheaters out. The game should be off skill and not skilled cheating.

Found this on a dodgy site after researching what hacks is all about.
