Is this fibre?

Thank god for Aerial Fibre, quick to roll out, little wayleaves, little trenching. How many power outages and hit water pipes do you want by having 2 x trenching instead of 1 aerial and 1 trenching?
Yup we had our fair share of no water / electric it has come to the point where I now call a ditchbitch (trenching machinery) an utility locator

I think most LTE towers are being served with Fibre nowadays.
Yeah, Openserve hooked up the tower with underground Fibre and for whatever reason they strung up fibre on the Telkom pole next to tower and that made me think that we were going to get aerial fibre within weeks, coming up on 3 years later and the fibre hasn't moved past that single pole

Yeap.. similar when Link Africa trenched our street and laid underground Fibre about 4/5 years ago - it goes to the 4G towers up the hill. Was hoping it would go into an FTTH service, but nothing happened with that.

Actually back then, we only had 3G signal.. Soon after Link Africa did their thing, the signal magically it transformed into 4G. I assume it used Microwave or something prior and then it switched to Fibre.
