Is this Gaming Computer good Value for money?

Look, you may like the monitor you have but, you will be wasting the potential of any new PC you buy with that monitor..

Ryzen 3 is AMD's latest gen CPUs and when it launches, the current gen stuff should fall in price and you could bag a very good PC capable of running games at 1080p for good money..
Thanks for the advice

thanks for your opinion,
i like the monitor. ill stick with it for now. I don't even know what "Ryzen 3" is.

so based on the games i want to play, at the resolution i want to play at, will the system I have put forward - be able to do it?
Jip OP has been living under a rock.Go check out AMD price vs speed.

wow, i guess if you're signed out of amazon it doesn't show shipping price.
this thread is redundant I will probably end up buying a PC here .

pls close thread

That PC is not bad, Tech Deals runs comparisons between it (with 1660ti) and a ryzen 5 2600x system of the same price. The amazon shipping cost does not make importing it worthwhile.

What's your budget for a new system? Can you wait until 7 Jul when Ryzen 3xxx comes out before buying?

Just to give you some idea you can build a better spec system with a 1660Ti GPU & 16GB RAM for R13k...

I did that pretty quickly and if you spent more time you could shave some off the price.

Thanks for that. I appreciate it

Yes I absolutely can wait, I didn't plan on committing to a purchase until I was absolutely happy with the decision so this thread was just to gauge other opinions.

I have a HDD, I do need a keyboard, mouse and Headset Though.

So you reckon waiting until Ryzen 3000 is released?

Wow that build in the screenshot is beautiful, where'd you do that? And a 1660ti with 16gb ram for R13k that's amazing.

Oh and my budget is ...I'd say R10k - R13k but I also want a Gaming Chair or something that will not degrade posture or feel uncomfortable while sitting for long periods. Do you perhaps know of anything that comes to mind?

I'll wait to see gaming performance on the post zombie load patch Intels vs new Ryzens

You can also look around for some second hand pc's if you are confident enough. I got a similar spec for around the same price but with an i7 7th gen, 32GB ram, 1tb hdd and 500gb ssd, also with a monitor, keyboard mouse etc.
