This must never happen again

Now that all crimes have been solved, unemployment is at an all time low and Eskom is running at 100%, people can start looking at all kinds of nonsense to condemn and to keep the stories alive. It makes me sick

Keep in mind that they're not talking about a murder, rape or a punishable crime even.
"It is vital to our shared humanity that South Africans of whatever race, colour, class and political affiliation, speak out in revulsion of this violation of our constitution which demands that respect be accorded to every individual, affirming the inherent dignity of all of us."

The perpetrators should face the truth and confront the enormity of what they had done.

"And we must ask ourselves why this has happened and what must be done to redress the harm and to ensure that such unspeakably damaging acts never happen again," read the statement.

I agree that it's time media attention moved on to something else. Since the whole FSU incident, there have been at least 3 murders that have made headlines and I would rather see action taken on those. The resolution of the FSU problem should be left to the university, the education department and the individuals involved to sort out. I'm not saying the initiation ceremony at FSU hasn't angered me, I just think there's bigger fish to fry at the moment.
