is this iBursts bandwith manager?

as far as I know they were supposed to use a proper bandwidth manager from opteq int.

Which are probably the best servers for this type of thing and I know that meetings were arranged to conclude a deal or 2 but wbs didnt come to the party.

maybe cos they are too greedy to fork out a few measly bucks for a decent bandwidth manager?

So instead they opt for a out of the box plug and PRAY solution.

Note : It was a reccomendation of mine. There was nothing concrete. I do not work for opteq int, I just know that they make good bw managing servers.
 
hmm who dragged this old thread back from the dead? anyways I think either the bandwith manager or the rules for the bandwith manager are all done in house because the last few days I've definatly noticed changes with it, ofcourse all to our detrement. this shady piece of crap software is my biggest gripe against WBS and I hope they fire the idiot who is responsible for it.
 
they can use linux iptables for bandwidth management for free ... but they are not smart enough to do it ... obviously!
