Just got my fixed lte mtn sim
Plugged everything in and connected it.
No internet access.
It won't connect to 192.168.0.1
Called mweb, they said it takes 48 hours to configure itself and I must just wait

Is this legit? Seems like she just wanted to get rid of me

What won't connect to 192.168.0.1?

This is your golden opportunity to strike back:

You are refering to the router. The sim takes time to activate.
Had the same issue but with Rsaweb Mtn Lte. But that is a different issue.
Never again.
So give it a day and call again. Sometimes you do get somebody that cares.

You should be able to connect to the router but not the internet even if the sim is not activated.
Make sure you follow the correct steps.

Most customer service reps /front end tech support reps will do that to get rid of a customer quickly.
"Oh it's a new connection, when did u receive it ? Oh today, dont worry it takes 48 hours to get activated, so after 48 hours everything will be working"
They won't even bother to open the customers account on their CRM and check first.
