I'm looking to getting a temp visa for overseas work. I didn't know you had to pay, seems kinda steep?

Anyone have any info?
When I called the number from the site I spoke to a Dutch lady seemed kinda strange for a USA government agency to have a Dutch employee. Their 0800 number doesn't work either, just made me a little bit suspicious.

Can anyone please clarify, thanks.

http://southafrica.usembassy.gov/ <-- there is an entire section for Visas. And if you follow those links you end up on the site you gave .. so I guess it is legit. Don't forget to check out the Reciprocity Table too for additional fees. http://travel.state.gov/visa/fees/fees_5455.html?cid=9739 (depends on the type of Visa you are applying for)

It is legit. I had to use the site when I went to the US in June. Computer Sciences Corporation runs the whole thing on behalf of the US embassy.
