Is This Speed Correct?

I think you may want to rethink your definitions of correct and incorrect...

Well he posted in the MTN thread, so I assume he has a 3G/HSDPA/HSPA+ data card, with an MTN sim card, connected to the MTN network.

Those speeds look like you have a modem that is at least 14.4mbps capable, and that you are connecting to a relatively quiet base station, that is also 14.4mbps capable, or more.

It is more likely that you have an HSPA+ 21mpbs cabable device, and you are connecting to one of the newer HSPA+ sites. Still, those speeds are way too high, even for an HSPA+ site, unless you were the only user on that base station when running the test, and you are pretty close to the base station.

Either that, or the speed test is incorrect. This is possible - it can happen in certain odd situations. You should run 3-4 speed tests, and average the results to get a better picture.

The Speed Is Incorrect!

I tested this more then 3 time and got the same result in different browsers. I use a 3.5 Mbps modem and that speed is just bogus coming from the server down to me. I am currently only allowed 1.8 Mbps on the MTN network I do not know why. But earlier this year I could do more then 1.8 Mbps. conclusion: This must have been a mistake.
